Andes Update

Hello All,

I hope and trust that you all are doing well. Since our last blog post, we have left Puerto Lopez and tracked up to the Andes Mountains. In order to get us acclimated to the higher altitude, we stopped for an overnight stay in Quevedo. Upon reaching the Black Sheep Inn after a full two days of traveling, we spent the rest of the day allowing our bodies and minds to relax. The next day half of us spent horseback riding to the local cheese factory and through the cloud forest, while the other half of us went hiking to the ridge above the Black Sheep Inn. Although we are sore and a bit tired, our enthusiasm for exploring nature will push us through our hike around and within Lagoona Quilatoa.
