Beyond The Numbers

By the numbers, the “typical” Sustainable Summer student is a current junior (rising senior) and from the Northeastern US or California. There’s about a 58% likelihood he or she goes to a public school (and a roughly 50% likelihood he is a he versus she is a she). In some ways, this sounds like the picture of a pretty typical high school kid (or at least high school kids that travel abroad on a summer program).
