I expected her to come home with a higher level of self esteem and confidence in herself. She’s s bright, talented young lady who needs to be challenged and the Dartmouth Sustainable Summer Leadership Program absolutely was the right choice for her. I am so happy we took the chance and sent even though we knew she would be the youngest. She had such a wonderful experience. I’m sure the “after glow” will continue for a long while. She’s currently making plans to fly cross country alone to visit three new best friends who are 1-2 years older than herself. It’s an unexpected result of the program.
