James was born and raised in New York City and is currently finishing his degree in International Development and Indigenous Studies at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. He is interested in urban agriculture and how to feed cities in the 21st century. He is an avid runner and loves learning new languages! James is also a Sustainable Summer alum, having participated in our program in Cuba while a high school student.
