Sustainable Summer Amazon Program En Route to Ecuador

Here’s a photo taken at the airport of Sustainable Summer’s Amazon program participants (minus a few arriving from different departure points and our 7 brave students continuing on from our first 3-week program).

We’re just under two hours from touchdown at the Quito Airport of our group flight. Karen and I are heading that way in a few minutes to greet our first arrivals, dinner is being prepared in the kitchen at our beautiful guest house (photo of the house at sunset), and everyone here is excited to welcome the newcomers into the group.
