Sustainable Summer Staff Training

The Sustainable Summer field team just wrapped up a fun-filled staff training day. Activities included a bike-supported sustainability-themed scavenger hunt throughout Brooklyn, practicing emergency medical scenarios in the “wilderness” of Prospect Park, and dinner at one of NYC’s Ecuadorian restaurants, El Tesoro Ecuatoriano, the Ecuadorian Treasure, in Brooklyn’s Sunset Park neighborhood. The sopa de marisco was outstanding. Pictured here in front of El Tesoro Ecuatoriano (from left to right) are trip leaders Trevor Curran, Tim Walsh, and Karen Alsen.

More staff training to come tomorrow!
