Havana organic agriculture and more

We’ve had a great time back in Havana!

Last night we were able to go try our recently acquired salsa skills and also see some amazing local talent in action! This morning we went to an urban organic permaculture farm and toured the property! Weeded and helped plant bok choy, and interviewed some of their farm staff. Afterwards we went to a restaurant which purchases some of their produce and enjoyed a cooking demonstration and a delicious lunch, complete with a traditional Cuban soup-el ajiaco!

After lunch we got in some beach time and swam in the turquoise waters outside of Havana! We are looking forward to visiting another farm to table project and wrapping up our two weeks in Cuba tomorrow!

See you all in just a couple short days!
