It has been just 24 hours since our entire group convened in San Jose, but it feels like everyone has known each other for much longer. After some evening orientation activities, we had breakfast at our hotel in Alajuela and started the 3-hour drive to Rancho Margot. The drive was a great chance to keeping getting to know one another while enjoying some great views of the lush countryside.
Rancho Margot is outside La Fortuna, on the edge of Lake Arenal. After a delicious lunch we continued orientation activities, went swimming, and attended a yoga class. We finished the day with some games by the on site fish pond and some post dinner journaling. We are excited to start tomorrow with more yoga, a farm tour, and then kayaking on Lake Arenal!
