Alvin is a biology and chemistry graduate from the University of Washington currently living in Madrid, Spain where I’ve been working as a biology, math, and English language teacher. I’ve been involved in sustainability since high school and have continued my education in sustainable practices in local Spanish schools and programs as an educator and outdoor leader.

Annika received her degree in Environmental Engineering from Arizona State University where she focused on environmental water processes. She has experience with private and public agencies involved with environmental protection and has done research on sustainable water practices throughout her university career. Annika participated in the Sustainable Summer @ Dartmouth program while in high school.

Jo values and works towards education opportunities that are inclusive and equitable for all students. Her teaching emphasizes scientific literacy, sustainability education, and nurturing student centered learning experiences. Empowered by her interest in urban ecology and conservation biology, she extends her educational encounters beyond classrooms, into the dynamic ecosystem of urban and natural landscapes.

Jeff is the co-founder and Executive Director of Sustainable Summer. He is a former partner and director of Career Explorations, a summer internship program for high school students, and Vertex Academic Services, an educational consulting company. Jeff has a BA from Bucknell University and an MA from Dartmouth College.

Rosalie studied sociology and anthropology at Middlebury College with a focus on social and climate justice. Over the past few years she has spent time working for nonprofits that focus on community and youth development at both the local and global levels.

Alex grew up on the east coast of Florida and graduated from Dartmouth College where she studied Environmental Studies and Geography and was involved in the Sustainability Office as an intern working at the organic farm, with dining services, and in various other student initiatives.
